When he isn’t working, Richard enjoys volunteering for his two favorite organizations- Ronald McDonald House & Habitat for Humanity. Both provide different life-altering services to the local community right here in Central Florida.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando. There are three Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando– one on the campus of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, one on the campus of Florida Hospital for Children and one on the campus of Nemours Children’s Hospital. Each year, about 2,000 families stay here to be close to their critically ill children. Click HERE to donate.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization whose vision is a world in which everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. To volunteer at one of our job sites, click HERE.

In his free time, Richard enjoys running, exercising and traveling. Though he rarely has a chance to put the phone down, his favorite way to relax is lying on the beach doing absolutely nothing. His parents and siblings still live in Central Florida, and he is proud to call Orlando home. More than ever, Richard is excited about the growth of the city and looks forward to seeing it continue evolving.
